June 5, 2009 New York Giants OTA: Similar to last Monday, the media was allowed access to another Organized Team Activity (OTA) practice yesterday. Veterans and rookies practiced from 10:30AM to noon. Afterward, Head Coach Tom Coughlin and a number of players spoke to the media.

OTA reports:

June 5, 2009 New York Giants Injury Report: Not practicing yesterday were DT Fred Robbins (knee) and DT Barry Cofield (knee).

When asked about Robbins, Coughlin responded, “We are looking at a guy that has made really good progress. According to (Vice President of Medical Services) Ronnie Barnes, he is on schedule or ahead of schedule. It was non-weight bearing for awhile but that was a minimal amount of time for someone with a microfacture. He seems to be well on schedule. We are just going to have to see how it goes. Once we break here in another week or two, how it is going to be over the next six weeks.”

“(Cofield) had a scope and he is doing well,” said Coughlin. “You see him running.”

Limited to individual drills in practice were DT Rocky Bernard (shoulder), LB Michael Boley (hip flexor), LB Clint Sintim (hamstring), and WR David Tyree (groin).
