Giants Sign CB Stoney Woodson; Waive Rashad Barksdale: According to Giants.com, the Giants yesterday signed CB Stoney Woodson, their 7th round selection in the 2009 NFL Draft. The Daily News is reporting that the deal is a 4-year, $1.8 million contract that could increase in value to $4 million due to incentives and escalators. Woodson is the second of the Giants’ ten 2009 draft picks to sign, with CB DeAndre Wright signing on Thursday.
In order to remain under the mandatory 80-man roster limit, the Giants waived CB Rashad Barksdale.
