Hip Surgery for LB Michael Boley: Linebacker Michael Boley, who the Giants signed as an unrestricted free agent from the Atlanta Falcons during free agency this offseason, underwent arthroscopic surgery yesterday to repair a torn labrum in his hip.

The Giants said in a press release that “a full recovery is expected in approximately 8-10 weeks.” Boley will likely miss all of training camp, which starts on August 2nd and ends on August 25th.

Boley had missed a week of Organized Team Activity (OTA) practices, but did participate in the recent full-squad mini-camp.

Giants Sign Barden and Bomar: The Giants have signed two more draft picks: 3rd rounder WR Ramses Barden and 5th rounder QB Rhett Bomar.

The Star-Ledger is reporting that Bomar signed a 4-year, $1.935 million contract that included a $185,183 signing bonus. No word yet on Barden’s contract details.

To make room for Barden and Bomar on the 80-man roster, the Giants waived TE George Wrighster and OL Mike Fladell.
