Giants Sign H-Back Travis Beckum: The Giants announced yesterday that they have signed H-Back Travis Beckum, their second 3rd round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. To make room for Brown on the 80-man roster, the Giants waived DE Alex Field.
Officially, the Giants have also signed WR Ramses Barden (3rd round), QB Rhett Bomar (5th round), CB DeAndre Wright (6th round), and CB Stoney Woodson (7th round).
Press reports late last week said HB Andre Brown (4th round) has also agreed to terms, but that signing has not been officially announced yet.
Aside from Brown, remaining unsigned are WR Hakeem Nicks (1st round), LB Clint Sintim (2nd round), and OT William Beatty (2nd round).
