Matt Rhule Becomes Temple’s Next Head Coach: As had been rumored, Giants’ Assistant Offensive Line Coach Matt Rhule has become Temple University’s new head coach. Rhule will finish the NFL season with the Giants. Rhule joined the Giants after this past Super Bowl.
December 17, 2012 New York Giants Injury Report: HB Ahmad Bradshaw missed the game against the Falcons with a sprained knee. He insists he is playing this weekend against the Ravens but Head Coach Tom Coughlin is not so sure.
“Yes. I’m planning on going this week,” said Bradshaw. “It’s healing a lot quicker than expected and my plan is to be out there Sunday…I just want to rest. That’s the plan. I’ll be ready Sunday.”
“I’m not sure (if Bradshaw will be available Sunday) yet,” said Coughlin. “I, medically, do not have that kind of feedback yet.”
OG Chris Snee injured his hip in the Atlanta game and was in and out of the lineup. Coughlin was asked if he had an update. “Not yet,” replied Coughlin. “I don’t know that we’ll get anything. It’s being treated; being looked at…the doctors are in control of that. Hopefully, he’ll feel much better tomorrow and then we’ll know that if there’s progress, then we can think that if progress continues, we would have a chance.”
DT Chris Canty suffered a burner in the game. “Just got a little banged up, nothing serious,’’ Canty said. “It happens. It was a physical football game…There’s no question about (me playing on Sunday). It’s all in, all in.’’
