RB David Wilson’s Injury Potentially Season Ending? The New York Post is reporting that RB David Wilson’s neck injury may be season ending. The Post says Wilson has an issue with a disc in his neck and will see a neck specialist in Los Angeles on Monday. An unidentified NFL source told the paper that there is concern the injury may require season-ending surgery. However, two other unidentified sources told The Post that the injury may not be that serious.
October 9, 2013 New York Giants Injury Update – Six Out For Bears Game: The Giants held a walk-thru practice on Wednesday. Not practicing were RB David Wilson (neck), TE Adrien Robinson (foot), OC David Baas (neck), DE Damontre Moore (hamstring), CB Corey Webster (groin), CB Jayron Hosley (hamstring), and S Cooper Taylor (shoulder). Of these seven players, all have officially been ruled “out” of Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Bears except for Moore who is “doubtful.”
Practicing on a limited basis were WR Louis Murphy (ankle), TE Brandon Myers (ankle), DT Linval Joseph (ankle), and LS Zak DeOssie (back). Murphy, Myers, and Joseph are “questionable” for the game while DeOssie is “probable.”
LB Mark Herzlich (toe) and CB Terrell Thomas (knee) fully practiced. Both are “probable” for the game.
