October 8, 2009 New York Giants Injury Report: Not practicing yesterday were QB Eli Manning (foot), TE Kevin Boss (ankle), HB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle/foot), DT Chris Canty (calf), LB Michael Boley (knee), LB Bryan Kehl (finger), and CB Aaron Ross (hamstring).

When asked about Manning, Head Coach Tom Coughlin replied, “Better; a little better…a little bit better each time he comes in. He spends about 24 hours working on it. So it is good to see the progress, even if it is small.”

“(Boss) is a little better, too,” said Coughlin. “He was better today. The ankle is down a little bit. Maybe, we’ll see.”

“(Canty) has got issues,” said Coughlin. “We can’t quite get over the hump on that. He’s back seeing the doctor…It is just very difficult to get him beyond a certain point. It is very frustrating for him and us.”

When asked if Ross was any better, Coughlin responded, “Not since he had his little problem last week. I would say it is about the same.”

WR Domenik Hixon (knee) and HB Danny Ware (elbow) practiced on a limited basis.

“(Hixon) has done well and he has gotten a little more work each day,” said Coughlin. “So he seems to be doing well. We will make that decision moving forward.”

DE Justin Tuck (shoulder), LG Rich Seubert (shoulder), and LB Clint Sintim (groin) fully practiced. DE Dave Tollefson (illness) returned to practice.
