November 17, 2010 New York Giants Injury Report – Andrews and Webster Now Hurt: Not practicing yesterday were WR Steve Smith (pectoral), OC Shaun O’Hara (foot), LT David Diehl (hamstring/hip), LT Shawn Andrews (back), FB Madison Hedgecock (hamstring), and DE Osi Umenyiora (knee).

The injury to Andrews is very troubling given his history of serious back problems, including two back surgeries that kept him out of football most of 2008 and all of 2009.

Smith talked to the media yesterday and did not sound optimistic about returning anytime soon. He said he will not play this week or next week. He also said he is still having range of motion issues with his right arm.

CB Corey Webster left practice early with a toe injury. The seriousness of the injury is not yet known.

Returner/WR Darius Reynaud (hamstring) and LB Gerris Wilkinson (hand) fully practiced.

Article on WR Derek Hagan: Derek Hagan Has Run a Familiar Route Back to Giants by Mike Garafolo of The Star-Ledger

Quotes: Eagles’ DE Trent Cole on the Giants Losing to Dallas: “I hope that Dallas game got into their heads a little bit, because that would be an advantage for us. Losing that game (was) tough. I was expecting the Giants to win that game. I sure didn’t ever think Dallas was going to win.”
